A Squat Opening in March and a Three-Site Group Need Opposite Things.

Same industry, same treatments, and a completely different problem to solve.

The Bigger Brand is a Manchester-based dental marketing agency working with private and mixed dental practices across the UK and Ireland at every stage of growth: established single-site practices, squat launches, multi-site groups, fully private practices and practices moving from NHS to private. We also work with aesthetics clinics and private healthcare providers. Strategy, channels and reporting change with the practice's stage, patient base and local market, and we work with one practice per postcode area.

Your practice's stage changes everything

A squat with no patients, no reviews and no Google history needs visibility fast, and it needs it before the doors open, not after.

An established practice with two thousand patients and a full diary doesn’t need more enquiries at all. It needs higher-value treatment from the people it already sees.

A three-site group needs one brand that works in three towns, each with different competition, different demographics and its own Google Business Profile.

A practice going private needs to bring its existing patients along, which is a communications job before it’s a marketing one.

Put all of those on the same twelve-month plan and three of them are wasting money.

So our first conversation is never about channels. It’s about where you actually are, what the diary looks like, and what you want the practice to be in three years.

The dental practices we work with

Dental practices

Established single-site practices that want more of the treatments they enjoy doing and fewer of the ones they don't. Most of our clients sit here.

Squat practices

Opening soon or recently opened. No patient base, no reviews, no history, and a bank facility with a repayment schedule attached.

Multi-site dental groups

Two or more locations. One brand across several markets, with reporting that has to make sense at group level as well as for each site.

Private dental practices

Fully private, competing on experience rather than availability, and justifying fees in a market where patients are watching every pound.

NHS to private conversion

Changing your model, and needing to keep the patients worth keeping while attracting the ones who'll pay for what you're building.

HOW WE WORK

What stays the same for every practice

Whatever stage you’re at, some things don’t change.

We look at treatment mix, pricing, capacity and conversion before anyone opens an ad account. Sometimes the answer is that your marketing is fine and your follow-up isn’t.

Treatments booked, cost per booked case and consultations attended. Every client, every month, in that order.

If we work with you, we turn down the practice down the road for as long as you’re with us.

Not sure where your practice fits?

Tell us where you are and where you want to be in three years. We’ll tell you honestly what we’d focus on first, and whether we’re the right fit.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions about dental marketing for your practice

Practices of most sizes use marketing support, but what they need depends on their stage. Squat practices usually need visibility before opening. Established single-site practices often need more higher-value treatment rather than more enquiries. Multi-site groups generally need consistent brand management alongside local search for each location. And a practice with a full diary and a healthy treatment mix may not need extra marketing at all.

Generally when it has capacity to see more patients, a clear view of which treatments it wants more of, and a process for handling enquiries quickly. Practices without spare clinical capacity or a follow-up process usually see little return from advertising until those are fixed, because enquiries either can’t be accommodated or aren’t converted.

Yes, though the marketing usually focuses on private treatments offered alongside NHS care, such as implants, orthodontics, cosmetic treatment and whitening, because NHS capacity is limited by the contract. Mixed practices commonly use marketing to increase private treatment among existing patients rather than to attract more NHS registrations.

Check the agency’s policy on territory before signing. Some agencies work with several practices in the same area, which means their campaigns and budgets effectively compete. The Bigger Brand works with one practice per postcode area and turns down competing practices for as long as a client is with us.
